The Corbières and the Roussillon plain offer some of the finest limestone climbing sites in southern France. Outdoor 66 offers three guided circuits on routes selected for the quality of their rock and the variety of their lines: from the introductory slabs at Casteil to the imposing cliffs of Vingrau and Tautavel — each outing is an invitation to progress in a stunning natural setting.
All outings are led by a state-certified professional guide (BEMF). Technical equipment (harness, rope, quickdraws) is provided. Progression is adapted to each person's level: beginners learn the basics of belaying and sport climbing, while intermediate climbers discover multi-pitch techniques under supervised guidance.
Climbing is practised from March to November in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Conditions are optimal in spring and autumn, with summer heat encouraging early morning or north-facing outings. Accessible from age 7, this discipline builds confidence, coordination and teamwork in an exceptional natural setting.
