The terrain.
La Castellane descends from the foothills of Canigó and carves its bed in the pink gneiss of Molitg. In just two hours of descent, it packs in everything you love about a canyon: natural slides, deep pools, varied jumps and a 10 m rappel under a waterfall.
The flow is regulated by upstream thermal springs, which keeps the temperature pleasant even early in the season. Accessible from age 7, this route suits small groups looking for thrills without real risk.
